Chief Executive Officer - Mark Bourgeois
Mark is highly experienced in strategic and operational leadership across investment, development and asset management within commercial real estate at FTSE Board level.
Mark joined the GPA in November 2023 as our interim CEO, working closely with the board and executive team to maintain momentum on our work to deliver a smaller, better connected, high quality, greener property estate. His appointment was made permanent in September 2024.
He has more than 30 years’ experience in strategic and operational leadership across investment, development and asset management within commercial real estate.
Among his senior leadership positions he held the role as Managing Director, UK and Ireland at developer and investor Hammerson plc, prior to which he was Executive Director at Capital & Regional.
He brings with him extensive expertise in regeneration in partnership with local and city authorities, including acting as Interim Corporate Director for City Development at Liverpool City Council.
