Director of Workplace Services - Carly Ersser
Carly leads the team providing frontline services to people in our buildings, enabling civil servants to work productively in modern, efficient and sustainable workplaces.
Carly joined our organisation in November 2024, following 12 years at HM Treasury leading multi-site facilities management, change programmes and workplace experience initiatives. Her permanent appointment was confirmed in July 2025.
Carly plays a pivotal role in transforming how the Civil Service operates by leading a team managing modern, efficient, and sustainable office environments across His Majesty’s Government. This includes initiatives that contribute significantly to halving carbon emissions from government offices and achieving net zero goals as part of our commitment to environmental standards within the public sector property portfolio.
