This accessibility statement applies to gpa.gov.uk and its sub-folders.
This website is run by the Government Property Agency (the GPA). We want as many people as possible to be able to use this website. For example, that means you should be able to:
- change colours, contrast levels and fonts using browser or device settings
- zoom in up to 400% without the text spilling off the screen
- navigate most of the website using a keyboard or speech recognition software
- listen to most of the website using a screen reader (including the most recent versions of JAWS, NVDA and VoiceOver)
- access most of the content regardless of its format
We’ve also made the website text as simple as possible to understand.

We are committed to making this website accessible, in accordance with the Public Sector Bodies (Websites and Mobile Applications) (No. 2) Accessibility Regulations 2018.
Compliance status
The website beta version has been tested against the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 AA and AAA standards prior to it going live.
This website is compliant with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) version 2.2 AA standard.
This website also passed all requirements for AAA compliance during this testing.
What we’re doing to improve accessibility
We intend to have the website accessed against the latest WCAG standards every three years, with the aim of maintaining full compliance.
Preparation of this accessibility statement
The website was last tested in August 2024. The test was carried out by the Digital Accessibility Centre (DAC), on the beta version of the website before it was live, to the WCAG 2.2 AA and AAA standards. The website went live on 11 December 2025 with all functionality and visitor journeys as were tested by DAC.
