We are an Executive Agency of the Cabinet Office. Our Sponsor Team is based within the Office of Government Property, in the Cabinet Office. We are a national organisation, working with client departments across the country.

We represent the best covenant in the UK – His Majesty’s Government – and manage a large and fast changing estate. We are delivering the property elements of the Government’s local growth, Accelerating to Net Zero, and Civil Service Reform initiatives. This includes a significant programme of commercial office developments and investment in our existing estate in all parts of the UK.

  Our 10-year strategy provides a clear direction of travel and demonstrates where we will support our clients and contribute to the Government’s policy targets – as a key enabler of Government transformation, kickstarting economic growth across the UK, delivering value for our clients, and helping meet the Government’s carbon and accelerating to net zero target across its estate.

  The Framework document sets out our core responsibilities and describes the governance and accountability framework that applies between the roles of the Cabinet Office (sponsor department), the GPA and UK Government Investments (UKGI). It also sets out how the day-to-day relationship works in practice, including in relation to governance and financial matters.

  Our Annual Report and Accounts presents a fair and robust overview of the previous year’s reporting period. It sets out our activities, performance and governance arrangements, and includes an account of our financial statements.
