Our Board and senior leadership team strengthen the organisation and ensure we deliver our 10-year strategy. They lead us in achieving our vision of creating a transformed, shared, sustainable and value for money government estate supporting civil servants to work productively in every nation and region of the UK.
Our Board and its sub-committees are our top level of governance, and advise our Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and the Cabinet Office on our strategic direction.

Chair - Helen Gillett (interim)
Helen became our interim Chair in September 2025, she joined our Board in April 2023 bringing a wealth of expertise across client and customer service, including leading high-performing teams.

Chief Executive Officer - Mark Bourgeois
Mark is highly experienced in strategic and operational leadership across investment, development and asset management within commercial real estate at FTSE Board level.

Chief Financial Officer - Nick Brown
Nick works closely with our CEO and Executive Team to lead on its financial matters, improving return on investment and enhancing client satisfaction.

Non-Executive Director - Hannah Gray
Hannah is currently a director at UK Government Investments (UKGI), she joined UKGI in 2017 and leads the UKGI Special Situations team.

Non-Executive Director - Carol Bernard CBE
Carol joined our Board in June 2022 to share her in-depth experience across change and transformation, as well as equality and human rights, and information strategy.

Non-Executive Director - Roger Blundell
Roger is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants and joined our Board in April 2023 bringing financial expertise from real estate, retail, broadcasting, the arts and education.

Ronen joined our Board in February 2023 bringing a wealth of expertise across property management and customer experience.

Anna joined our Board in October 2024 bringing expertise spanning development, investment and asset management across retail, residential, life sciences and mixed-use regeneration schemes.

Maura joined our Board in September 2025. She is a finance professional with an executive career spanning Board level CFO roles in Banking, Asset Management and Pensions.

Director of Strategy - Dominic Brankin
Dominic is responsible for understanding workforce planning across the Civil Service through a long-term lens.
Chief Operating Officer - Lisa Commane
Lisa leads a diverse team of core functional roles enabling us to deliver on our mission of transforming the way property is managed in government.
Director of Workplace Services - Carly Ersser
Carly leads the team providing frontline services to people in our buildings, enabling civil servants to work productively in modern, efficient and sustainable workplaces.
Deputy Director People and Culture - Lorraine Wall
Lorraine leads our HR team to ensure our people are engaged and supported while at work.
Legal Counsel - Michael Wu
Michael provides and facilitates timely robust legal advice, and engenders informed decision making.
Director of Capital Projects - Simon Hulme
Simon oversees the delivery of a well-assured programme of construction and fit outs in line with business cases from the CIO.
Chief Investment Officer - Jane Hunt (Interim)
Jane works to align workforce plans with an estate strategy, oversee all property transactions and consolidate outline business case creation.
