We’ve been on a journey to evolve how we’re organised and how we work, so that we can deliver a smaller, better, and greener government estate and provide a more consistent, transparent experience for our departmental partners.

Since starting this work, we’ve focused on creating the foundations for future success. We have confirmed a new executive and senior leadership structure that strengthens accountability, simplifies decision making, and supports a more joined up approach to strategy, portfolio management, project delivery and workplace services.

We’re now entering the next phase of our programme, which is embedding this new model and testing how we can work even more effectively with departmental partners. This includes a new pilot, which pairs a senior departmental client with a director to test closer senior level alignment. Insights from this pilot will help shape how we extend this approach more widely next year.

While our structure evolves, service continuity and quality remain our priority.
