Our updated Service Catalogue
We have completed a review of our Service Catalogue, ensuring that you have a clearer understanding of the services we offer.
The services detailed in the catalogue are now published on our website for simple and convenient access
Our services are grouped into the following categories. Follow the links below to view the detailed descriptions.
Summary of key changes
- We have removed the bundled services terminology – Curated Space, Serviced Space and Fully Serviced Space – based on feedback to provide more clarity on what we deliver.
- We have altered or merged a number of lines to make them clearer to understand.
- For our Landlord Services package, the line “The GPA to undertake a security assessment of the property.” has been removed. We are currently reviewing our security service offering and this information will be updated in the next iteration of the service catalogue. Existing services won’t be impacted by this change.
- For our Portfolio Services package, the service description for “Accurate Budgeting” has been expanded under the Client’s Role section, to ensure an adequate level of contingency funding is obtained to cover cost volatility.
- We have removed the line regarding conference centre support as this only applies to buildings with Business Events Centre.
- The following lines have been removed from the catalogue as they are considered to be a business-as-usual responsibility of the GPA, not a service to our departmental partners:
- Plan and deliver building condition surveys
- Security Vetting for Suppliers
Frequently asked questions
Will the updated services be updated in my Managed Service Agreement (MSA)?
We are now moving to keeping the list of services in one place on our website. Services will not appear in your MSA going forward.
How will I know exactly which services are included at my specific building/s?
Building-specific schedules will remain to show individual responsibilities at a local level.
Why has the wording for services in the catalogue changed to “could include” instead of “will include”?
This change reflects that some services (like security or utilities administration) are not always delivered at every site due to varying local landlord arrangements.
Why has the security line been removed from Landlord Services?
We are currently reviewing our security service offering in line with evolving estate and cyber needs. This information will be updated in the next iteration of the service catalogue.
Why was the condition survey line removed?
This has been removed from the catalogue as it is considered to be an internal responsibility rather than a service provided. We will continue to conduct these surveys in our role managing the estate.
Why has the conference centre support line been removed?
This service isn’t applicable in the majority of buildings and only covers buildings with a Business Events Centre.
Why has the security vetting for suppliers line been removed?
This service is considered an internal GPA business practice for managing the estate, rather than a service provided. We will continue to carry out security vetting in our role managing the estate.
Will I receive a cost reduction due to these service removals?
No. A review of service costs will take place ahead of the next spending review period.
How will I be made aware of future updates to the services?
You will be directed to a live link on the GPA website for up-to-date information. When changes occur, we will issue a summary document outlining the specific updates.
Will more changes affecting costs be coming?
These services are reviewed on an iterative process and as any changes are made costs will be reviewed in line with this.
