Job description

The GPA provides shared IT services to the UK Government, this provision varies from operating shared networks, audio visual and other services in modern Government Hubs to innovative solutions such as our shared printing service and common access pass that span our wider estate. All of our shared IT services involve the use of IT assets, whether these be hardware, software, licenses, cloud, certificates or end user devices. All assets need to be tracked and managed through their entire lifecycle, this is a critical role that can deliver significant value to the taxpayer.

You will lead the design and operation of a robust IT Asset Lifecycle Management (ITALM) process. You’ll leverage a modern, integrated tech stack to build a high-fidelity Configuration Management Database (CMDB), ensuring that our data isn’t just “available,” but actionable.
